Hotel Babylon

Hotel BabylonA new eight-part drama starts on BBC1 tonight, at 9pm, and it’s all centred around a luxury five-star hotel. Hotel Babylon has been  produced  by Carnival Films, of ‘As If’ and ‘Poirot’ fame. Judging by the trailers, it looks to be being shown after the watershed for a reason.   Indeed, Carnival Films describe the drama as follows:
Hotel Babylon is a tantalizing and seductive insight into the sexy world of the luxury five-star hotel industry, where money not only talks but can buy just about anything you desire!
Hotel Babylon stars Tamzin Outhwaite, Max Beesley, Emma Pierson, Dexter Fletcher, Martin Marquez, Michael Obiora and  Natalie Mendoza, and is based on a book by Imogen Edwards-Jones and an anonymous author. It was filmed on a set in Buckinghamshire in the UK rather than in an actual hotel.
