Etihad Airways celebrating at World Travel Awards 2006
It couldn’t get much better for Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE. Not only have they won the World’s Leading New Airline for the third year on the trot, but they’ve also scooped up the award for World’s Leading Flat-bed Seat at the 13th World Travel Awards. Their Diamond Seat which I blogged about back in July can recline 180 degrees into a flat bed, as well as rotate 180 degrees so that passengers can dine or talk with one another.
