BMI strives to make long-haul travel more comfortable

Category: Air Travel, Speciality Travel — Paul Johnson @ 1:44 pm

BMIBMI’s  entire long-haul Airbus A330 fleet is to be fitted with the very latest lie-flat beds. The new electronically-adjustable lie-flat bed will feature a maximum 80 inch pitch, 20 inches more than currently offered, and will be configured in a 2-2-2 layout. The ‘kitting out’ of the fleet with the new seats will begin next year, with the first plane ready by May 2007.
