Banyan Tree Ringha scoops Tatler Travel Award

Banyan Tree RinghaAt the 14th Tatler Travel Awards, China‘s Banyan Tree Ringha was named Tatler Hotel of the Year 2007. The resort is 3,200 metres above sea level  in the Yunnan province, a mountainous area that has been designated as the official Shangri-La by the Chinese government and is part of Greater Tibet, both historically and culturally. It consists of 32 spacious lodges and suites that are traditional Tibetan farmhouses with intricate woodcarvings, smoky fireplaces and wooden balconies that have valley or river views.
