Category: Accommodation, Bars, Europe, Going Out, Hotels, Regions, United Kingdom, Western Europe — Paul Johnson @ 1:44 pm

The Mortal ManThe Mortal Man has enjoyed its position in the rugged fells of Troutbeck Valley in the English Lake District  since 1689.   Now under new ownership and being returned to its former glory, its twelve rooms offer superb comfort and glorious views. After a stimulating day exploring the stunning landscape, the residents lounge and two adjoining bars offer the perfect place to relax, complete with glorious log fires.   The bars offer an intimate and cosy atmosphere where you may enjoy a light lunch, or in the evening, sample the real traditional ales and many malt whiskies on offer as you unwind and prepare for your next day.   Why not take advantage of their current dinner, bed and breakfast rates which start from £65 per person per night (based on two sharing for two nights)?
