Category: Accommodation, Hotels, North America, Regions, USA, West Virginia — Paul Johnson @ 9:25 pm

The GreenbrierThe Greenbrier at White Sulphur Springs, WV has had a $50 million makeover to put it well and truly back on the map. The National Historic Landmark has been closed since 3rd January 2007 to enable renovations to be made to 63 guest rooms (plus all 721 rooms will have new ultra-luxury beds and linens and flat-panel TVs), as well as to dining and nightlife venues. Global cuisine from Chef Michael Voltaggio will be available through the new Hemisphere restaurant, and a new entertainment venue called 38°80 (formerly The Tavern) is to debut.
