Inspired by generations-old Arabic culture, design and traditions, The Sharq Village & Spa, which recently opened in Doha, offers each guest an authentic interpretation of the rich Qatari past, introducing them to a hotel experience unique to the region. Operated by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company B.V., this is the award-winning global hotel company’s second property in Qatar, and the fifth in the Middle East, joining resorts in Bahrain, Dubai and Sharm el Sheikh.

these type of resorts are really amazing: they have it all in the middle of the desert, a destination itself and no need to get out of the place, it´s all there!

I have just recently returned from Doha, Dubai and Bahrain and have been to this resort. If you are looking for another amazing desert resort check out Jumeirah Bab Al Shams Desert Resort in Dubai. Dubai is a happening city- it’s the Las Vegas of the Middle East!
