Donald Trump has got his way in Scotland, the home of golf – planning permission to build a $2.1 billion (yes, you read that right) golf resort just north of Aberdeen, despite some local opposition. As well as what might prove to be the best course in the world, there will be a 450-room luxury hotel, 950 holiday homes, 36 golf villas, and 500 private homes.
