If you’re dreaming of a no-stress, relaxing-on-the-beach kind of vacation, then - according to Tripadvisor - the top 10 all-inclusive resorts are to be found mostly in the Caribbean. Their list is as follows:
- Iberostar Bavaro, Dominican Republic
- Excellence Riviera Cancun, Mexico
- Royal Hideaway Playacar & Occidental Resorts, Mexico
- East Winds Inn, St. Lucia
- Couples Negril, Jamaica
- Iberostar Varadero, Cuba
- Divi Aruba All-Inclusive Beach Resort, Aruba
- Majestic Colonial Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
- Iberostar Costa Dorada, Dominican Republic
- Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island, Bahamas
I know the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America tend to be known for their impressive array of all-inclusives, but there are other options.
For instance, I was surprised that 3Luxe’s top three (http://www.3luxe.com/category/Vacations/All_Inclusive_Vacations - to narrow it down even further) only included one “beach resort” type place - after all, you can’t always just lay on the beach with an umbrella drink all day (well, not for every vacation at least).
