I know the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America tend to be known for their impressive array of all-inclusives, but there are other options.
For instance, I was surprised that 3Luxe’s top three (http://www.3luxe.com/category/Vacations/All_Inclusive_Vacations - to narrow it down even further) only included one “beach resort” type place - after all, you can’t always just lay on the beach with an umbrella drink all day (well, not for every vacation at least).
