Tripadvisor has published its “Travelers’ Choice” list for 2008, outlining the best hotels on the site according to its readers’ reviews. Categories include everything from Best Hotel Pools to Best Hotel Service. Over the next week and a bit, I’ll be listing the top 10 Best Luxury Hotels for each region, posting a new list each day. First off will be the US… make sure you come back tomorrow to see which hotels made the grade!

ve to say that over the years i have found tripadvisor to be an invaluable source of information on hotels. sometimes there are one that i wish i had checked out before visiting (the Shore Club Miami for example) and there are others that i am glad i looked into. You always have to take the comments with a pinch of salt but in general i find in the most part the majority of them are fairly accurate and have saved me some heartache and disappointments along the way and introduced me to some gems. keep up the good work!
