But isn't it also the case that most visitors to any hotels have other demands on their time that would mean the majority don't do a Tripadvisor review? I suppose Tripadvisor can only work with what they have and, whilst many luxury travellers perhaps wouldn't take time out to do a review, there will always be some that will. Some of the very, very best hotels are often impeccable in almost every respect but might get 'marked down' from a user feedback perspective because they might not score as well when it comes to value for money. That's my suspicion, at least. Some of the very, very best hotels are often impeccable in almost every respect but might get ‘marked down’ from a user feedback perspective because they might not score as well when it comes to value for money. That’s my suspicion, at least.
