Amazing Thailand
The Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched a new Web site called Amazing Thailand to tell us there’s more to Thailand than just lots of beautiful beaches. With categories for ‘Thai-ness’, ‘Nature’, ‘Treasure’, ‘Festivities’ and more, the site promotes more than 300 special deals for inbound travellers and lists more than 2,000 travel products such as hotels, attractions, tours, etc.

Shame that the homepage is 5.7 megabytes and took 2 minutes 20 seconds to finish loading…
Wow, I never noticed it was that bad. I just loaded it now and, whilst I could see most of what I wanted to reasonably quickly, for me it actually took over 50 seconds for the page to load. That is far too long, you are right.

Amazing they have such a slow site! They need to speed it up.
They must have improved it as it loaded quite quickly for me. There’s a lot of interesting stuff on there.
