I recently stayed in this hotel and had a great experience. It is perfectly located round the corner from 5th and right next to grand central station. The rooms are great and well sized particularly for new york. everything is within walking distance and you have the subway and trains available below.
I can also throughly recommend an italian restaurant on 55th Street between 6th & 7th called Abboccato – it gets great reviews and the food is quite fabulous.
