The opening ceremony at the 2008 Beijing Olympics

In case you missed it, take a moment to marvel at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Unfortunately the Olympic committee doesn’t allow footage to be re-produced, but you can enjoy this series of still images put together in a video.

    1. Apparently some of the fireworks were added digitally, I think there were footprints if I remember rightly, a bit cheeky! That aside it was an amazing open ceremony I think we all thought (gulp) how are we going to top that?! The birds nest stadium is a fantastic structure, can’t wait to see what London produces!
