Category: Accommodation, Asia, China, Hotels, Regions — Paul Johnson @ 1:02 am

Carlson Hotels, one of the world’s largest privately-owned hotel companies, has signed an agreement with China’s Sanya Lu Hui Tou Tourism Development Co., Ltd, to manage a new Radisson Plaza hotel in Sanya, the southernmost city in Hainan, China. This latest addition to the Radisson Plaza portfolio supports the company’s plans to more than double its presence in Asia over the next four years. Radisson is the upscale, full-service brand in the Carlson portfolio. Radisson Plaza Hotel Sanya Lu Hui Tou is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2011, and will be located five kilometres from Sanya city on the Lu Hui Tou peninsula.
