I'd like to see a list of the worst! I've been to Zurich airport but can't even remember it, think I'm normally too tired at airports!

i love that auckland airport is in there - it is so different to all the biggies. it is small compact and you can actually walk outside between the two terminals, the domestic and international terminal a refreshing change from the normal airless airport. well done auckland!

During my last visit to southeast Asia,I visited almost ten airports of that region which was completely par above my expectation as far as architecture and the hospitality are concerned but when i arrived at Hyderabad(INDIA), i found myself very comfortable from each and every expect.I have heard that New Delhi will very soon announce the inauguration date of Indra Gandhi International Airport and being a traveler i am looking forward for this as it will introduce me with some newer technologies to make our journey comfortable.

When I traveled through SE Asia, I really loved the little local airports. They were usually built and decorated with local flare, a contrast to the ultra modern mega airports.

I'd have to go with my home town airport in Vancouver, BC. Not only are there a tonne of services to keep you entertained while waiting, it showcases some beautiful local and First Nations art.

I have to admit I like glasgow airport as it is fairly compact and easy to get through quickly. Sydney is another favourite but it might have something also to do with the destination. I also have to say that Heathrow Terminal 5 is pretty good with all the shops, restaurants, and ease of transport. My only bug bear is that the security is a bit slow so in a hurry can take a bit of time.

I see that KL makes #7 on the list. Yep, it's a nice airport but there's also the LCC (low cost carrier) terminal which is a 20 minute drive from the main airport - something to bear in mind if you're on a tight time schedule.

The main airport is nice and modern, and you can get an airport express train from there right into Sentral (28 minutes). It's pretty good.

My favourite airport is Inverness (Scotland). It's so small and kinda laid back. I love it!

I'm gonna have to go with my home town airport - Aspen, Colorado. It's small, beautiful, and most of all - relaxed! I know the weather can make arrivals and departures a challenge, but that doesn't reduce its appeal to me.

As for major airports (what? Aspen isn't major?), my vote goes to Minneapolis/St. Paul. They have a great selection of stores and restaurants, and it's a really nice place to connect.
