Luxury on the sophisticated Isle of Gozo

If you are thinking luxury while you are thinking vacation, look no further than the little island of Gozo. This island belongs to the country of Malta, offers unbelievable sights, and sounds with a backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. With its scenic hills, quaint villages, gorgeous views of the Mediterranean Sea, Gozo offers all this combined with history and culture.

Once you have decided, with good reason, that Gozo in Malta is the place to spend your luxurious vacation, choosing hotels in Malta or hotels in Gozo is a wise choice indeed. Hotels in Gozo such as the Kempinski Hotel, San Lawrenz are perfectly situated within minutes of the harbour. This luxury five-star hotel offers guests a blissful stay on premise and in the surrounding area as well.

The serene countryside setting of this hotel in all its glorious splendour will envelop you into a more tranquil state of mind. This hotel offers you a peaceful backdrop as well as some rest and relaxation inside as well. The Quintessence Spa is like no spa that is found anywhere else. Their philosophy is based upon the premise that nature can heal and soothe all areas of the body, mind, and soul. All treatments incorporate and enlist the help of Mother Nature herself to attain a sense of balance in all realms.

If the spa is not enough of an amenity, then the spectacular rustic elegance of the suites and rooms will delight you. These spacious rooms and suites envelop you from the inside out to incorporate the peaceful tranquillity of the hotel’s surroundings with the ambience continued within its walls. Sleeping in luxury, comfort, peace, and tranquillity and awakening to a scenic view that mimics the same are what you will experience at this five-star, luxury hotel.

Once you are sufficiently relaxed and at ease, perhaps your palate needs to be pleased. Dining at the Kempinski Hotel will surely leave your taste buds tantalized. Sublime elegance in either Italian or Mediterranean fare is available for your enjoyment. The regal yet relaxed atmosphere combined with the most sophisticated food is a combination that will please everyone’s plate.

In conjunction with their holistic approach to rejuvenating the body and the soul, Kempinski Hotel offers Ayurveda cuisine to compliment this theme. Happy hour drinks at the bar as well as a view of enchanting sunsets in their Care and Lounge Terrace will have you sitting back, settling in, and smiling from ear to ear.

  1. Malta is quite nice, but if you’re after a Mediterranean setting on the cheap, check out some of the Greek islands. You can stay in luxury B&Bs for great prices because of their troubled economy. I was in Santorini, Greece in 2010 (beginning of Greek crisis) before heading west to Malta and found the prices much more affordable in Greece.

We agree – Gozo is little gem! However Blonde has a traumatic spa experience at the Kempinski several years ago!
