5 of the best luxury yacht charters

For the ultimate in luxury vacations a private super yacht rental is the way forward. Offering you total luxury and convenience and an itinerary to suit you, they can be the perfect way to spend your summer break. Here are 5 options for you to consider:

1. Anastasia

Offering a full super yacht experience the 75.5m Anastasia is an impressive vessel which makes a statement. At €650,000 a week it is not for the light of pocket, but this price gets you an unforgettable experience, sleeping 12 people in total luxury. Guests have access to a Jacuzzi, fully equipped gym, disco lounge and a number of interior and exterior dining areas. Toys wise the Anastasia doesn’t disappoint either with 4 tenders available, 4 jet skis, snorkelling and scuba equipment, windsurfers and a variety of waterskis and tows.

2. Vanquish

A smaller but still impressive 36m yacht, the Vanquish wouldn’t look out of place at any of the luxury marinas found across the south of France which is its normal hunting grounds. 3 double cabins make this a fantastic option for up to 6 guests with plenty of room offered in the spacious dining areas and saloons. The aft deck is a perfect sun trap during the day and converts in to a luxury dining / relaxation area on an evening. Charter the Vanquish for around €100,000 per week.

3. Kokomo III

The Kokomo III is a 58 metre sailing yacht perfect for those who want to engage in some ‘proper’ sailing action without sacrificing the luxury environment. Launched in 2010 the Kokomo III is available to charter for around €230,000 per week and can be typically seen gracing the Mediterranean ports in the summer months. To make sure you don’t get bored this luxury sailing yacht also comes fully equipped with toys including two jet tenders, wake boards, donuts, and sailing dinghies. Sleeping up to 12 people in 5 staterooms this is the perfect option for adventure seekers.

4. Pegasus V

Stepping it up a notch is the newly refitted Pegasus V super yacht. Coming in at slightly under 80m in length and decked out with all the latest high-tech equipment, this really is a beautiful boat. On the massive deck area there is something for everyone, with a pool and bar area and a fully stocked ‘party deck’, you will be the talk of the port in the Pegasus V. The size of it also allows more private areas for relaxing and unwinding. As you would expect there are a range of tenders, and jet skis to use along with all the usual scuba, windsurfing and waterski equipment. A Mediterranean charter in the summer months will cost around €650,000 euros a week.

5. Virgin’s Necker Belle

For something a little different why not consider the Necker Belle, Richard Branson’s luxury sailing catamaran which is available for charter around the Caribbean islands. Sleeping up to 12 guests in four stylish cabins the Necker Belle is the height of luxury catamaran travel, charter directly from Virgin from $110,000 per week, you will not be disappointed. For a relaxing time head to the trampoline at the front for 360 degree views and uninterrupted sun, if you fancy something more exciting there are also water skis, wake boards, scuba equipment and a fast speed boat at your disposal.

  1. Johnny Depp’s “Vajoliroja” yacht is also open to charter, for those looking to holiday on a celeb yacht! Afraid I don’t remember the price – I expect it’s not cheap though… ;). Simon Cowell has also been spotted on “The Slipstream” which is worth checking out.. a fantastic superyacht, probably my favourite!

All these super yachts are first class, I would not hesitate to charter any of them. Recently in Monaco I came across some really beautiful sailing super yachts for charter.
