  1. I’m sorry but I don’t undestand this top list!! It’s impossible create a list without understand tipology of room, area, and many other things included or not included!!!

  2. Hello Renata

This is not a list of the most expensive hotel rooms or suites in the world, but rather a comparison of the most expensive average room rates for ** standard double rooms **.

    Hope this clears that up.

  3. Great list. Wow, the prices are way too high for me. I’ve seen the hotel #11 in Cambodia, but haven’t stayed there unfortunately, couldn’t afford it :-(

  4. This list is not well researched , in Kenya and Tanzania we have luxury hotels and lodges going for over USD$2,000.00 per person per night and non of them in shown on that list . Please always give parameters of your reseach . We are a luxury tour provider and we have lots of luxury properties costing alot in Eastern and Southern Africa .

  5. Do people decide to stay somewhere just because it is expensive? Is this a marketing tool targeting the 1%ers. A fool and his money are soon parted. You should decide a place to stay based on location and amenities and of course one within your price range. If one of these fit the bill than great, but do people choose based on ‘high’ price. I am dumbfounded!

  6. I don’t think this is quite a comprehensive guide to the best luxury hotels, they just go by the price, but many times this won’t reflect on the quality you’re getting.

  7. This list is not correct. There are addresses that far much expensive and exclusives than this. The Dune in Sardinia is a massive family resort only four star rated and Viceroy Maldives and Maia Seychelles are definitely not expensive compared to the Banyan Tree Madivaru Maldives, or Fregate Private Island and North Island in Seychelles… What about Musha Cay Bahamas, Cipriani Venezia or Grand Hotel Quisisana in Capri… ?? Sorry but your list is far from reality.

  8. thanks man good job.

    please understand what paul said,
a comparison of the most expensive average room rates for ** standard double rooms **.
    u idiots
