I’ve spent a long time battling a fear of heights and recently in Argentina I got bullied into doing a bungy jump about a quarter of the height of this one. I came away with a renewed fear of heights, a bizarre hatred of bridges, a desire to never again step (or jump) outside my comfort zone, some hideous photos and a strong conviction that anyone who says ‘bungy jumping is the best thing ever!’ is a liar. But then, that might be the jealousy talking!! Full respect to anyone who has even considered doing this!!

I would note, however, that this is the world’s highest commercial BRIDGE bungy jump, not the highest of any category – the Macau Sky Tower has had a higher one for a few years now. The videos of jumps from that are just as terrifying though so the matter of a few metres shouldn’t really impact!
