  1. I would take my Tommy Trip bag to the summer season in Punta del Este. Nothing better than visiting such a fancy place like Punta with a trip bag of style from Tommy. It is a great combination!

  2. When the time comes for a man to travel the equipment he packs and the destination he chooses is essential. There’s an innate connection between the way we equip ourselves and how we approach a trip. Perhaps in a way it hearkens back to primitive times when we would don our hunting cloaks and set out into the wild in search of food or new places to live. A rugged bag like the Tommy Trip Bag has come to symbolize that modern hunting cloak. It’s where we store the things that are valuable to us – the things that enable our adventures. Where would I travel with mine? On an adventure. I can hear Iceland calling my name. Its rugged and untouched countryside offering an intoxicating mixture of charm, adventure and exploration.

  3. I would take my Tommy Trip Bag, packed with a bathing suit,a couple of pairs of shorts, and a couple of good books, straight onboard a flight to Oahu. I would then hop inter island flights from island to island with so much ease, because all I have to carry is my Tommy Trip Bag and nothing else. What a trip that would be with Tommy.

  4. The Tommy Trip Bag looks like the perfect bag for our son to take on several upcoming weekend trips to visit colleges. He could stay well organized and keep all of his various electronic devices and paperwork in the handy outside pockets. Flying from Alaska to the lower 48 requires luggage that can take it all and this bag looks like it fits the bill and looks great too.

  5. always wanted to travel light with a bag that compliments my lifestyle and Tommy trip looks as if I`ve found my soulmate. Embarking on a journey through India to find the inner me, this bag will hold all for the Outer Me!!

  6. My bag would travel to South Texas to visit my Mom over the Christmas Holidays. My dad passed away a few months ago and I want to spend my first Christmas without him with my Mom. :)

  7. It’s my mum’s 90th in January, so the Tommy Trip Bag would be packed for an extra special stay in London. Mum’s greatest wish is to take a trip on the London Eye, but I think that might be combined with afternoon tea at The Ritz and a West End show.
I’d need this versatile bag to pack both casual and smart attire, not to mention the bottle of champagne and the array of gifts I’ve assembled.
I’m glad it’s got plenty room for the extras I know I’ll need – the comfortable shoes mum swears she doesn’t need, the spare glasses and the camera to make sure we remember every detail.

  8. As travel advisor, we receive amazing invitations. At the top of my head…last September on a trip with @relaischateaux through the Provence and the Cote d’Azur..my next trip to Kenya and Tanzania in November. Good places for the Tommy Trip to go.

  9. I would take my Tommy Trip Bag San Francisco to watch my Detroit Tigers Beat the Giants in the World Series. I have never been to California and it would be a great bag to have to pack my things in.

  10. The Tommy Trip bag would make the perfect companion for a weekend anniversary break with my wife to Paris to celebrate our 1st anniversary. With room for the smart clothes for a meal out and space for a surprise present or two it could help me earn some brownie points with my wife.

  11. I do not believe in God but I want to walk the Camino to Santiago de Compostela. I only need hiking shoes and the will to walk for almost 800 km. Planning it in Easter time. It will take time and iron will.

  12. I’d take my bag to Virginia to visit a friend whom I served with in the military overseas. We haven’t seen each other since the day my family and I departed from my overseas assignment almost 20 years ago.

  13. I would take my Tommy Trip Bag to the one destination I have always wanted to go: Washington DC. After disembarking at Union Station, I would have my Tommy Trip bag pack full of things to help me visit during the spring: a pink shirt to coordinate with the cherry blossoms in their full bloom, a patriotic t-shirt to wear as I pose in front of our national treasures, and a sweater for my evening cruise up the Potomac River.

Since the large front pockets are big enough to hold travel documents, I would have them chocked full of DC “tourist delights”: postcards, brochures, a camera w/ memory card, and little items picked up here and there for my friends and family back home.

Fortunately, the lightweight and comnpact design of the Tommy Trip Bag will easily meet the weight requirements of my retun train, and could possibly fit in my overhead storage area.

  14. As a US Navy sailor, I travel a lot. When on duty, deployment or making a permanent change of station, I used my “official looking” luggage. When recreation calls, I am ready to make a quick weekend getaway; that is where the Tommy Trip Bag would come in.

Whether I have one day off or several, I always like to keep a bag backed so I can “load and go”. From camping at a Georgia State Park Cabin to visiting a theme park for the weekend, the compact, yet organized design of the Tommy Trip Bag would be perfect.

  15. Where would I take my Tommy Trip Bag? On every trip I go on of course! I like to travel light and this bag is ideal as I could use if for what I need as well as ample room for any souvenirs or other must-have items I pick up on my travels. As I can take it in the cabin its always to hand to store a magazine or travel book to read en-route. The first place I really would like to use it for though is to EuroDisney where I can act like a little kid again, whilst using my grown up bag to carry back my Mickey Ears – you can never have too many Mickey Mouse Ears, thats what I say!

  16. I’d take it on a weekend break to visit family in France, as I could fit everything I need in it as hand baggage and that would save precious hours at the bag drop and luggage carousel – more time to spend with them.

  17. I would take the Tommy trip bag on my coming trip to Singapore and Malaysia – It would make for a perfect carry-on bag! After that, I would use it for the rest of the travels I have planned for 2013- Europe, Bali. Some new luggage would inspire me to continue doing what I love and that is to travel!

  18. I want to take my Tommy bag to Iceland. I can lay my head on him while I stare up at the northern lights with the sound of a waterfall rushing nearby. I’ll have a bathing suit my Tommy bag in case I come upon God’s hot tub…a warm volcanic spring.

  19. I’d haul my Tommy Trip on forays round the country on our 10 ton vintage steam roller! I need a bag like this for the weekend essentials!

  20. I’ll take my Tommy Trip bag to croatia. It will be perfect for yachting down the Adriatic Sea. Convenient and stylish!

  22. Books, books, books – I rarely get a chance to read with job and children, so holiday time is my opportunity to relax and read

  23. IÂ’m visiting Paris in December – January for the first time and the Tommy Trip bag will be my companion. I will be collecting beautiful memories of Paris and experiences, and my bag will be living vicariously through my experiences of Paris as I watch the city bustle with ageing viaducts and strolling lovers, young and old, arm in arm; and listening to shouts of “Chaud les marrons!” from vendors selling chestnuts roasting on coals, enjoying early sunsets and long evenings, strolling down the glowing city as a I window-shop. And oh letÂ’s not forget the ice skating, the Christmas carousels, the pony rides, puppet shows and seeing the symbol of France, the Eiffel Tower. Utter bliss!

  30. I’d travel to Singapore to shake hands and clink glasses with the creative team that designed the Tommy Trip weekender bag.

  31. I’d take my bag EVERYWHERE! Learning to travel light is my life’s work (even though I never want to travel light at all)! But with a bag like this? Well, I’d happily reform and say goodbye to my chronic overpacking affliction forever!

  32. This looks like a fab prize. However, I have a few small questions about it.

Is Tommy the hunky guy carrying it, and is he included with the Trip bag prize?

Also, on closer examination of the photo, I’m confused about what’s sticking out of his backside. Is it a fern, or perhaps an anchor which someone has stuck there blunt end first?

Meanwhile, here is my competition entry.

I usually look like a travelling circus everywhere I go – cameras, lenses, laptop, Kindle, etc, plus sometimes I even take some clothes. The Tommy Trip bag looks as though it would be big enough to accommodate all these things in one bag so I wouldn’t have to juggle so many other bags.

Despite its capacity, it seems as though it’s still reasonably compact. After all, if it can go as cabin baggage that’s another huge plus.

Where would I go with my Tommy Trip bag? Most likely I’d take it on all my trips around South East Asia.

  33. I am ever on the quest for the perfect bag to wrangle my electronics and gadgets, as well as save a little room for clothes, and the Tommy Trip bag looks like it could be just that! 39. I’ve been fortunate enough to live & experience life in 3 different continents: Asia, North America and currently Europe – Paris. When talking about luxury, where else is a better place for my Tommy Trip bag than Paris – the birth of luxury? He’ll surely have such a good life here with me (I promised! :), and also not to forget to mention, my Tommy will of course be with me to travel, explore & learn about the rest of the world. Don’t you think that is such a lovely & useful life and a good bag like our Tommy would deserve? ;)

  40. I would take my Tommy bag everywhere and anywhere! I am always off on weekend trips exploring my own province of residence (BC, Canada) and having a bag that is well made and the perfect size for a few nights away is key. I have been to places that only have phone access and I have been to places that don’t even have that…this bag would allow me to take all that I need to completely escape! On the other hand, I love to cruise and what better way to carry on all of my essentials than with the Tommy bag…a perfect bag for after I have checked my larger luggage and also perfect for all the amazing finds from a well enjoyed vacation!

Don’t want to go too far for a weekend holiday.
Anywhere in Europe would make a pleasant stop.
Not too long a journey just a short cross channel hop.
Of course it could be England the place we both call home.
