Photograph of the week: Arrival of the Blues Brothers

With a hefty catalogue of big screen musicals, Universal Studios deserves to be heard. And inside their Orlando theme park, heard they will be! Outside a mock New York store front, people begin to congregate, patiently anticipating an arrival. A thumping jazz beat in the distance elates the crowd before a cop car cruises around the corner blasting familiar tunes from the over scale roof top speaker. The audience is in raptures, and the cool, stern and very capable characters take to the stage, to exceed expectations with their live set from the Blues Brothers hit movie! This is America, this is ‘the American Feel Good Factor’ at full volume!

Thank you to Kevin Maw of Total Orlando for permission to re-produce the image.
