    1. Totally agree with you! It’s really nice place. We were presented with a free Champagne bottle when celebrating our anniversary

  3. Thanks for the suggestions and food porn. I will add these to my growing list. I did make it to Per Se (back when the people reviewing expense accounts were more forgiving) and it was very good, but not great. I would add:

    – Noma, Copenhagen (best dessert of my life)
    – Uchi, Austin (TX) (sit at the bar)
    – minibar, Washington, DC (and likely Andres’ restaurant é in Las Vegas, although I’ve only read reviews of it)(only 6 seats)
    – Alinea, Chicago (and likely Achatz’s Next, although I’ve only read reviews of it)(the closest you’ll get to El Bulli)
    – Raku, Las Vegas (down-to-earth sushi in a not-so-down-to-earth city)
    – Arzak, San Sebastian (if you have three hours to spare for lunch)

  4. Yum. Benu in San Francisco looks amazing — love the photo album on their website.
