Elephant gets more than it bargained for in Botswana

This dramatic footage was shot during an evening game cruise of the Chobe River in Botswana. A female elephant and her two babies enjoy a drink from the river… until a nasty surprise pops out of the water!  Of course, adult elephants are enormously strong and have trunks capable of tearing down trees – but maybe the outcome would have been different if the crocodile had chosen one of the others…
