3 of Thailand’s top luxury hideaways you won’t want to miss

Thailand stands out as one of the largest and most beautiful countries in Southeastern Asia and has become a must-visit place for many budding travellers. The country is of course famous for its wonderful history, rich culture, stunning beaches and impressive landmarks, but few take advantage of their hidden yet luxurious hotels. As with many things in Thailand, you can stay in some truly amazing places relatively inexpensively. Today we wanted to share some of these great locations. Anantara Bangkok Sathorn Hotel The Antantara Bangkok Sathorn Hotel is a very impressive 4-star hotel found in the city centre of Bangkok, a few metres away from the Embassy of Australia, Patpong Night Market and the Embassy of Malaysia. It is surrounded by some of BangkokÂ’s spectacular tourist attractions including the Mariamman Temple and Lumphini Park. The 37-twin tower structure boasts of 310 spacious rooms and suites. Apart from having a beautifully decorated interior, each room is fully equipped with a refrigerator, LCD television with satellite channels, state-of-the-art furniture, a telephone, and free Internet access. The hotel also offers a large swimming pool, a spa, a tennis court, a fitness centre, and a nice playground for children. Maikhao Dream Villa Resort and Spa Maikhao Dream Villa Resort and Spa is found on the pristine Maikhao Beach in Phuket, a few kilometres from the Phuket International Airport and the famous Phang Nga Bay. It offers 22 exquisite villas. Each villa occupies about 460 square feet and has a beautiful sunbathing deck, an airy wood terrace, a jet pool, and a large living room. The out-sized bedrooms are fully equipped with DVD players, free Internet access, and regal feather beds with beautiful organic bedding and goose-down pillows. InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort is an outstanding seafront resort found on top of a 122-metre cliff in the western region of Koh Samui Island. It is located in a very tranquil environment and offers breathtaking views of the Taling Ngam Bay, Ang Thong National Park, and the Gulf of Thailand.   2. Anantara Hua-Hin Resort is another family-friendly paradise. It’s not far from Bangkok (2-hour drive). They often offer a package including breakfast and round trip transfer. The breakfast buffet is perfect for fussy eaters!
