A very grown-up restaurant in Manchester’s Northern Quarter

Manchester’s Northern Quarter is famous for its Bohemian vibes and many bars, cafés, music and record shops situated north of the city. TNQ Resturant & Bar is a hidden gem of a modern British/European restaurant situated right in the heart of the area, once a storage warehouse for the old Smithfield fish markets, but now a humble, modern dining room with rustic wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a view of the Grade I-listed Smithfield fish market facade. TNQ This is a thriving, independent neighbourhood restaurant, showcasing a true taste of Manchester by offering visitors honest ‘Northern Soul’ food, superb wines and stellar service. With a reputation for quality food and service, the restaurant boasts many accolades including inclusion in the Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland 2011 and 2012. This independent restaurant holds 58-covers and prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients in all of its dishes. TNQ TNQ Restaurant & Bar creates seasonal, locally-sourced, gourmet dishes and homemade desserts using only the finest ingredients the North West & the British Isles has to offer, and infused with flavours of the Med and beyond. Dishes are prepared daily by head chef, Anthony Fielden. Anthony has developed a prolific portfolio of experience at some of ManchesterÂ’s finest restaurants, and has now put TNQ Restaurant & Bar firmly on the north-west food map. And to compliment the exquisite taste of fine dining, they offer an extensive drinks menu and impressive wine list. TNQ What’s more, they have recently launched a Dads Eat Free campaign meaning Dads qualify to eat free if a photo of their Sunday roast is posted on Instagram, using a number of hashtags, including #sundayroastmanchester and #tnqrestaurantmanchester and @tnqrestaurant. TNQ The restaurant will also host an gourmet evening on 22nd May 2013, dedicated ntirely to Italy, with beautiful Italian dishes and delicious wines.
