Top 10 European travel destinations for 2013

So where would you think are the top places to be in Europe this year? Paris for the end of the 100th Tour de France perhaps? Russia for the World Athletics Championships? Croatia, the latest addition to the European Union? According to an article just published by Lonely Planet, the top 10 European travel destinations for 2013 are as follows: Cinque Terre Porto & Douro Valley Budapest, Hungary Northern Iceland Cinque Terre, Italy Moravia, Czech Republic Bern, Switzerland Marseille, France Croatia Northern Ireland Copenhagen, Denmark Do you agree with the selection?   1. In our opinion Amsterdam should not be left out any list concerning European Travel Destinations in 2013 .

    This is because 2013 is a very special year for Amsterdam. In celebration of several incredible milestones such as the opening of the renovated Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum and 400 years of the Canal Ring, the year will be chock-full of exciting events. Events include opening up the city for 24 hours, outdoor exhibitions and concerts, festivals and parties. As a city renowned for its creativity and innovation, 2013 is the year we share this spirit with the world.

  2. Well I think putting Marseille in this list of 10 is very optimistic!
