A record month for A Luxury Travel Blog

Happy New Year everyone! We would normally expect a slight dip in traffic in December as people concern themselves more with their Christmas arrangements than planning travel. It’s a time when travel sites (unless they have a particular focus such as skiing holidays) don’t usually perform quite as well. Despite this, I’m pleased to report that we’ve had a huge increase in traffic and last month served more than 230,000 unique visitors (the exact figure was 237,620). ALTB stats And with more than 15,000 uniques served on 1st January, it’s early days but it looks as though we might even be able to attract more than a quarter of a million this month.  Many thanks to all of you who continue to keep on coming back and welcome to anyone who is here for the first time; we hope you like what you see and that your visit will be the first of many.

  1. Thanks, Simon… we finished the first day of the year with 19,702 uniques… so you never know, but maybe we can even double December’s effort!

  2. Hi Paul. Congratulations on the record breaking month! That’s a cracking number of unique visitors. Here’s hoping the trend continues in 2014.

    Best wishes, Alex

  3. Congratulations on your phenonimal traffic, not so surprising though as your blog is high quality. I hope you make it to a quarter of a million, best of luck :)

  4. Thank you, Ally… we have already passed 140,000 uniques this month, just 7 and a bit days in, so we’re actually hoping we might reach a whopping 500,000 uniques this month… but we shall see. :)
