  1. Two of those three are near where I live: Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. They have a perfect location to make them phenomenally successful — halfway between Boston and New York. Busses are continuously bringing people to these locations from all over New England and New York. Foxwoods is huge and Mohegan Sun runs other casinos in New York and Pennsylvania. Quite a success story for a couple of small Indian tribes in Connecticut.
