We’ve reached 100,000 ‘likes’ on Facebook!

Some of you may recall a post I made in May last year, titled ‘20,000 likes on Facebook… and counting!‘.  In that post I mentioned our continued drive to develop A Luxury Travel Blog’s Facebook page, along with our other many other promotional activities that have resulted in A Luxury Travel Blog becoming one of the most popular travel blogs in the world today. I predicted that, with a real push, we might reach 100,000 Facebook likes by the beginning of September 2014. Instead, I’m pleased to report that we’ve reached that ambitious target approximately six months ahead of schedule, bringing our total following across all social media channels to just short of half a million. 100k So, a very big ‘thank you’ to all those of you who follow us, whether it be on the blog, the Facebook page, Twitter or any of our other channels. It’s taken us just under 11 months to accumulate the additional 80,000 Facebook fans required to take us to the 100k.  Being someone who likes a challenge, I’m now setting myself the target of adding not just another 80,000 fans in the 11 months that lie ahead, but instead a further 100,000. So… please make sure you check back in February 2015 to see if we’ve reached that new goal by then!

  2. Wow! What an accomplishment. As someone who just crossed 750 likes I am inspired. I think I am going to have to check out your promotional activities and see how it is done.
