Whilst there are many commercial areas designed for travellers, there are also some lesser known but amazing bars. Here are 5 of the best luxury bars in Bangkok that we would recommend:
Nest
High above the business district and entertainment hot spot Sukhumvit, Nest is a luxury rooftop lounge and bar that is designed to provide a break from the busy city below. With an exotic design and mellow atmosphere, there is space to relax and enjoy your drinks whilst looking out across the city. Nest is an appropriate name as it creates a cosy and sophisticated atmosphere with a modern design. They offer some excellent tasting menus and serve refreshing cocktails. Bamboo Chic Bar
For its sleek and trendy drinks and stylish interior, the Bamboo Chic Bar has made its way into our top 4 luxury bars. This is a more classic bar, as it is located in Le Meridien Hotel. It follows the hotelÂ’s high-end crisp design and has a glamorous feel to it. Bamboo Chic Bar is famed for its extensive choice of cocktails and provides the ideal setting for a cultured evening with friendly staff that take pride in remembering who you are.
Horizons Bar

It has a very stylish decoration but this bar is all based on finesse and presentation. Their drinks are all delivered in the most unique styles and look like nothing else you have seen. We stayed a week at the Tower Club at Lebua Bangkok and were lucky enough to experience all the bars and restaurants there. This hotel is luxury, the Distil bar is nice but the sky bar is better although a little crowded. Biggest disappointed though is the feeling of being herded like cattle on the roof and ushered everywhere. Lovely place though and we will stay there again next time we are in Bangkok.
I agree with the previous reply. Lebua is really nice, but a bit to crowded. Sky bars are now popping up everywhere in Bangkok. Most new hotels that are build now come with a nice skybar. Guess Lebua stays popular because of the hang over movie.
