In the last 24 hours – and it nearly escaped my notice – we reached something of a social media milestone here on A Luxury Travel Blog. At the time of writing, our number of Facebook likes is at 140,405. You could be forgiven for thinking that 140,000 – despite being a healthy number – would be a rather unusual milestone to be celebrating. Meanwhile, our Twitter following has reached 359,822 followers.
The mathematicians among you may have already noticed why I’m calling this a milestone. Add together the two numbers and you have… a grand total of 500,227.
Yes, that’s right… across Facebook and Twitter we now have over half a million followers!
Thank you to everyone out there who continues to follow and support the blog. To those of you who share the Facebook posts, comment on them or simply ‘like’ them, and to those who re-tweet and so on and so forth… a huge ‘thank you’! It really is appreciated.
