Concord Point lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Maryland that the public is allowed to access, sits bayside in the city Havre de Grace, Maryland. Historic Havre de Grace is a great place for tourists and locals alike to experience authentic Maryland seafood, boating, fishing and events throughout the year. This photo was taken over Independence Day weekend as people from all over Maryland and beyond came to celebrate. The Independence Day celebration is a popular event in the region that includes carnival rides, musicians, parades and more. Fireworks were set off over the water at the end of the night, allowing for a spectacular end to the festivities of the day.

We were in Maryland last year is this is something we surely did not see. Great picture plus it was taken on the best day of the year. July 4!!!! Great shot Jennifer and next time we are up in that area I will make sure the family checks out this lighthouse.
