Photograph of the week: Canary Wharf above the clouds

Amongst the typically gloomy low clouds of London emerges the iconic Canary Wharf business district. The tallest of the towers, One Canada Square, held the title of Britain’s tallest building for nineteen years, only to be surpassed in 2010 by The Shard. This photo was taken from an Airbus A321 whilst the plane dipped its wing, allowing for the best view of the subject. 1. I live in London and have flown in LCY a handful of times. Always a great view of London, though I have never seen something as cool as that from my window! The image even can out pretty clean through the window. Impressive

  2. Such a nice shot, it also should be nice to be on the top floors of those skyscrapers at that time! The view is definitely a big plus when using LCY.
    Cheers,
