  1. I’ve read about the Oriental Pearl Tower glass floor, 6th tallest building in the world too I think. There’s part of me that really wants to stand on it, but then you read horror stories of small cracks in glass on structures like this and it’s a bit off-putting. Gorgeous hotels and they all pay attention to detail and offer something distinctive. I quite like that the Peninsula offers other activities like chocolate classes (yes please!) Not that you need more to do there as I think Shanghai could keep you busy for years but at least the option’s there.
