I’d vouch for that. Not many places in New Zealand are genuine five-stars, but this is one of them (also consider Blanket Bay and Corstorphine House).
I have a New Zealander friend, who tells me that this is an extraordinary place to stay while in Auckland…her hometown, in fact!

Mollies is beautiful, haven’t stayed there yet myself as it’s just a bit out of town. But considering it for my next stay for its victorian charm…. would be a lovely getaway.
