Jia Hotel Krabi, Thailand
The fishing town of Krabi, departure hub for island hoppers, is getting a Jia Hotel, run by the Hong Kong upstart that built the first Philippe Starck-designed hotel in Asia last year. If this first hotel is anything to go by, we can expect sensuous rooms and award-winning cuisine. Starck will surely demonstrate his unique, creative expression and style.
