Samsung Digimax L85
You really have to wonder whether an 8.1 megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom is necessary for just a point-and-shoot camera, but that’s exactly what you get with the Samsung Digimax L85. It also has the ability to shoot in a 16:9 aspect ratio and to save files in uncompressed TIFF format, again features you don’t necessarily expect on a point-and-shoot camera. The price of this camera is yet to be unannounced but I can’t help but think that more serious photographers will be looking for greater control.

I would like to have point of shoot digital camera that has the 5 times zoom (not digital zoom). The mega pixels are not that important i think. If you want high pixel counts then look for one of the top Canon SLR camera’s (12 and 16 mega pixels).
