InterContinental Hotels Group signs contracts in China

InterContinental Hotels Group said it has signed four new management contracts with Shanghai Greenland Group, one of the top real estate and property management companies in China. The deals include an InterContinental hotel in Nanjing,  a Holiday Inn property in Xian and two Express by Holiday Inn hotels in Shanghai, representing a total of more than 1,400 rooms. The 450-room Intercontinental Nanjing luxury hotel is scheduled to open in 2010, while the 380-room Holiday Inn Greenland Xian is set to open in 2007 and the two Express by Holiday Inns will open in late 2006 and early next year.
