Lasagne given the OK at Marriott West India Quay

Marriott West India QuayLondon’s  Marriott West India Quay found itself in the most unlikely of situations recently after hosting the English Premier League soccer team, Tottenham Hotspur, prior to their last game of the season.    Many of the Spurs players were hit with a virus just before the game,  enabling rivals  Arsenal to ‘pip them at the post’ for a place in next year’s money-spinning Champions League. Food-poisoning was a suggested cause, leading the finger to be pointed at the hotel’s lasagne and Tottenham threatening a £10m compensation claim against the hotel and Premier League. However, early indications appear to be exonerating the hotel, favouring a neural virus as the more likely cause.
