The Emirates Pearl, Abu Dhabi

The Emirates PearlThe Emirates Pearl  – a joint venture project between Tourism Development & Investment Company (a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority) and the Atlas Group (a UAE telecommunications company)  – will be Abu Dhabi’s  latest  five-star landmark. This ambitious  hotel resort will be on the capital’s Khalidiya coast, just opposite the prestigious seven-star Emirates Palace Hotel. It  is expected to cost AED 500 million (US$136 million). Part of the development will consist of a 240 metre-high tower with 352 rooms and suites and 104 luxuriously furnished apartments, all with balconies and Gulf views. The  place to stay, though, will be the  private penthouse complete with helipad and two Presidential suites.
