  1. Queenstown is a favourite place of mine – it is a great all year round resort deep in New Zealand’s south island. the scenary is spectacular and the town itself is the gateway to many trips and experiences. For the more adventurous it is self named the adventure capital of the world and is supposedly where bungee jumping started, but there are many challenging expreiences to be had. Its a very international town with fabulous skiing close by. Some great hotels including a sofitel and various boutique hotels. Well worth the trip!
