New private jet for Oprah
You may recall this story from earlier in the year when Oprah Winfrey had a bit of a scare with her GulfStream private jet earlier in the year. Well now apparently she is splashing out on a new jet: a Global Express XRS from Bombardier Aerospace. She’s opted for the 10-seater model with a custom-designed interior and a price tag of $47 million to match. She joins the likes of Stephen Spielberg and Bill Gates by being a Global Express owner.

As a professional in the private jet charter industry I can attest to the fact that this really is an incredible jet. It is one of the nicest in it’s class. It can cruise at 590 mph and the cabin is 8 ft wide at the widest point. I cant even imagine how nice it will be after Oprah customizes the interior. I would love to take a ride in the skies with Oprah on her beautiful Global Express.
