The future of parking?

BMWParking your car in a tight spot has been made much easier in recent times with the aid of sensors that detect how close you are to an obstacle.   But it sounds like there’s plans to make it easier still, and this time you won’t even have to be in the car. The new technology – expected to  debut on BMWs – will require a dash-mounted camera and a mirror-like device in your garage.   Yes, folks… this is going to help you get the car in the garage, but I’m afraid that – for now, at least – you’ll still have to work on that parallel parking!

  1. Great, I need any help I can get! At least there won’t be any worries about parallel parking if you’re going to the Olympics this year. I work for Auto Europe and was delighted to hear that, because you have to have a chinese licence to drive in China, all our hire cars there come complete with a chauffeur! How very civilised!
