A 120-passenger luxury train connecting Bangalore and Goa could be available as early as July next year. The route from Bangalore will pass Mysore, Hassan, Hospet, Gadag and Londa, before completing its journey at Vasco in Goa. The 18-compartment train, designed by Mumbai-based Pendse and Associates, will have 11 compartments for passengers with multi-cuisine restaurant, a gymnasium, health club, massage parlours, internet centre and audiovisual facility for entertainment. This will be the third luxury train in the country, following in the footsteps of Palace on Wheels and Deccan Odyssey.
