The Pompidou Centre, 30 years after it all began

PompidouThe Pompidou Centre celebrates its 30th birthday in Paris tomorrow and the Musée National d’Art Moderne will be re-opened to mark the occasion, displaying works from the likes of Picasso, Matisse, Kandinsky and Miró.  If you’ll be there for lunch, try Georges at the top of the centre, or savour oysters and other delights at L’Estaminet  tucked away in the corner of Marché des Enfants-Rouge, Paris’s oldest food market.
