A home away from home

Castello di CasoleTravel + Leisure  has named  the Top 100 Real Estate Developments for those seeking the ultimate home away from home. Ignore your to-do list and linger a few minutes over their slideshow of the top 100 places to find a home away from home… I like the sound of Castello di Casole in Tuscany myself:
Surrounded by lush vineyards and olive groves, these 19 restored farmhouses are a mix of modern and traditional; 17th-century stone facades, glass-tiled infinity pools, private patios, wood-burning ovens and breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills. Fractional (1/10 shares) and full-ownership plans are available.

  1. Tuscany is a popular location for both private residence clubs and destination clubs. At least 8 destination clubs have luxury homes in the area, and there are 5 or 6 private residence clubs or luxury fractionals, offering ownership “under the Tuscan sun”.
