Fractional ownership in Italy

Borgo di VagliAs the fractional ownership trend popularized by Americans, spreads across the pond to Europe, Borgo di Vagli, Italy’s first Equity Residence Club development was recently named Best International Redevelopment (Multiple Units) by the 2007 International Property Awards. Situated in the heart of Tuscany, 30 minutes from Cortona, Borgo di Vagli is a 14th Century medieval hamlet set on 32 acres of olive groves and gardens. The rustic residences are sold fractionally, starting at  $60,000 for a one-bedroom and  $92,500 for a two-bedroom.
