A carry-on case for photographers
Travelling by air isn’t always easy for photographers these days – not with the new airline baggage restrictions. A company called CaseCruzer has tried to address their plight and come up with the Photo StudioCruzer 1510 – a really tough, airline-legal carry-on case. The case’s modular interior gives photographers flexibility for storing and transporting equipment with closed cell foam adjustable sizers. And the exclusive lid compartment is the perfect cradle for an Apple MacBook Pro13.3-, 15-inch or the new MacBook Pro Air. Now photographers can roll on and off an aircraft without fear of baggage handlers and accidents. The case is available for a very reasonable $249.

This case sounds like a really good idea.
I prefer to travel light. In ye olden days I could manage for weeks with a small day pack. These days we’re like a travelling circus. By the time we’ve got the laptop and all its gubbins, and my camera, lenses, spare batteries, and all that stuff even a weekend trip starts to feel like a major expedition.
Airlines are also making things increasingly difficult with all their security rules. I’m going to have a closer look at this case – and probably buy one.
I agree with Kay, the price is very reasonable but the case must be like a treasure very safe. But when you go in holiday with a lot of luggage and you also want to take some photos from different places and you need some accessories from the case this could be unpleasent.
The case looks Ok but we ususally use a special camera backpack so that when we are at our destination it is easier to carry everything around on our backs rather than holding a case. Our backpacks are very well padded and have room for a laptop as well
I wouldn’t spend that much money on a case, like the previous poster said, I have a backpack that is fine
