Riviera Maya’s Esencia estate in Mexico, the former home of an Italian duchess, is offering guests a free night when staying five nights this winter.  Rates at the 29-room Esencia start at $605 per night for a Garden Suite with plunge pool and up to $1,729 per night for a private two-story cottage.  The promotion is available from 6th January through to 30th April 30 2009 and must be booked by 20th December  2008.  Taxes and service charge are additional. Esencia is located in the secluded area of Xpu-Ha Beach, 46 miles south of Cancun.
